When you’ll get your refund

Last updated : 18 Jan 2024

If you qualify for a refund, we'll process your refund right after you cancel your booking. We'll send it to the same payment method you used when you made the reservation. However, the time it takes for the refund to reach you can vary depending on how you made the payment and where you live. Your bank or credit card company may have their own processing times.

Track your refund

If you haven't received your refund within the timeframes mentioned, please let us know.

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. Go to the "Trips" section and choose the specific trip.
  3. Click on "Track refund."
  4. On the refund status page, you will see an ARN (Acquirer Reference Number) that confirms your bank has approved the refund.
  5. Share this ARN with your bank.

Refund timelines

The refund may take up to 15 working days major credit cards, including prepaid credit and debit cards.

Note: If your original payment method’s account was closed, the refund sent by hekaya won’t process. If this happens, you can contact us to step in and help.
