Taxes for guests

Last updated : 19 Jan 2024

Sometimes, local regulations mandate that Hosts charge a tax to their guests. While we recommend Hosts to include this tax in the reservation price, some may require it to be paid directly by guests.

Notifying Guests About Taxes

We request that Hosts provide clear information about any applicable taxes in their listing descriptions and in their communication with guests before booking. If you're a guest and want to stay informed, it's a good practice to inquire with your Host about taxes in advance.

Value Added Tax (VAT):

Hekaya is obligated to collect Value Added Tax (VAT). The Tax Authority certifies that Hekaya Holidays has been registered for Value Added Tax (VAT) from an effective date of 15/11/2022 and has been given VATIN OM1100306561.
